Rootz Underground in CaliKingston, Jamaica: - Rootz Underground returned home on Monday September 17 from their successful 7-gig tour of the US. From Miami to California, Rootz rocked and 'reggaed' to packed houses spreading their positive and uplifting message.

With one show in Miami and 6 shows in California, Rootz established a fan base with contemporary reggae lovers, celebrities, fellow musicians, and entertainment executives and have been invited back to do a monthly or quarterly showcase at the Temple Bar and Malibu Inn in California.

"California was a very spiritually uplifting trip!!! The love of positive reggae music was phenomenal and was probably the strongest I've seen in the US. Our music and vibes were well received and we made new family, friends and fans!!! – Stevie G, Lead Singer.

"It's been a long time since Jamaica has produced a band that has the licks, the looks and the locks, so that with a little luck, there is nothing that they lack! Rootz Underground has the consciousness, the vibe, the live show presence and the songs to bring roots reggae back to the higher heights. They even played two shows in one night on the opposite sides of the city! It is this work ethic that will take them to the top. Now that they are well planted on the US West Coast, we await the return of Rootz Underground to deliver more buds and flowers to awaken the Lost Angels!" - Native Wayne Jobson, Indie 103.1.

"This was a positive first tour that showed us all the power of reggae music especially in the western US. The market over there is well informed and well focused on roots, reggae music. The trip was a great bonding experience for the band and we definitely got a foot in the door in the Cali music scene." – Jeffrey Moss-Solomon, Rhythm Guitar.

"Rootz has certainly established a fan base in California." - Dana Shayegan, Grown Folks Agency.

"This tour really taught Rootz how to rock a club, we play outdoor stages a lot at home but the approach you have to take to play to a club full of dancing people is totally different. What amazed us all was the level of appreciation for reggae and even more so for musicianship. This trip has strengthened the band and made Rootz Underground a force to be reckoned with on stage."– Charles Lazarus, Lead Guitar.

Rootz Underground are now back home and will be working on their 2nd video from their upcoming album 'Movement!'
