Death B4 Dishonor 8, World Clash Jamaica. March 24, 2008! LINE UP ANNOUNCED!Irish and Chin, Inc. is proud to present the 8th installment of their wildly popular World Clash Jamaica "Death Before Dishonor." With lots in store for this year's event, sound clash fans should only draw for their BEST lighters, horns and whistles. World Clash Jamaica promises to exceed its already spectacular reputation in 2008.

As Irish and Chin, Inc. is dedicated to delivering the highest caliber of sound system entertainment to thousands of revelers in Montego Bay on Easter Monday, March 24, they have incorporated a sizzlin' NEW element into this year's clash. Rather than opening the event with the standard early warm juggling, the promoters will bring the fire with a special "Vintage Tribute."

During this highly anticipated segment, young members of the audience will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to get schooled by the industry's most respected teachers -- David Rodigan, King Jammy's, Black Scorpio and Downbeat. The "Vintage Tribute" will indisputably set the pace for a high-energy sound clash. Surely, the momentum of these foundation selectors will inspire the next generation of sound men -- whose clash will follow.

Fans must hold on to their seats for the "Main Event," which boasts an award-winning line-up, including returning champions Mighty Crown, Black Kat, Tony Matterhorn, Hype Zone and more.

This fiery ensemble of high profile sound systems will keep thousands of fans in the mix until the sun rises. As each sound has their "duffle bag" of dubs and specials, no tune will be left unturned. And because of each sound's passion and hunger for the coveted World Clash Jamaica title – the clash will be a survival of the fittest. Each sound has something to prove.

World Clash Jamaica 2007 was won by Mighty Crown, "The Far East Rulers." This Japanese outfit is already strategizing their attack. Very well they should – as they will face off against some of the most successful sounds to grace the industry. Only time will tell.

World Clash Jamaica has flourished in larger-than-life proportions from its humble beginnings in Trelawny, Jamaica in 2001. With Montego Bay's leading outdoor venue Pier One as home, "World Clash Jamaica" has had space to grow. As 8,000 people inundate Pier One annually to experience the epic "World Clash Jamaica," the excitement and anticipation is high.
