JMC 3VeniPort-of-Spain, Trinidad – On the heels of a successful Carnival season with patriotic track "Can't Take Trini Outta Me," Remmi-D and Caribbean crossover band JMC 3Veni recently released "A Mother's Child," a number dedicated to mothers the world over.

"A Mother's Child" is a very sentimental number that captures the mother's role in life's ever-continuing cycle. It takes the listener from birth, to adulthood, to birth once again, all the while describing the love that only a mother can have for a child.

Writer and composer Remmi-D, speaking from Left Hand Audio studio in Pennsylvania, USA, said he felt humbled to be the instrument to deliver this love song. "This is one for all mothers for always. It's important that there's continuity about it. I wanted to capture the entire cycle, but I also wanted to capture the unending selfless love that mothers have for their children regardless of what anyone else feels." JMC 3Veni leader Veerendra Persad actually planted the seed. "I called Remmi-D and told him that it was quite a while since anyone did a Mother's Day song. I asked him to think about the legendary Sundar Popo's 'Your Mother's Love' as a launching pad. He said that he would not tamper with legend, but that he would give it a shot. I was blown away by the result."

The song was recorded and produced in three different countries: at SOS studio in Trinidad, Left Hand Audio in the USA, and production was done by Caribbean sound engineering genius Ossie Gurley in Toronto, for a truly globalized finish.

"A Mother's Child" can be heard on the Caribbean programming airwaves both locally and internationally and on Internet radio. It is also available in stores and as a permanent download, at http://www.remmid.com/products.html.
