MAQ T20 International Cricket Touranment'08Memorial Weekend will come alive with three exciting days of 20/20 Cricket and two incredible nights of live entertainment.

Ky-mani Marley, son of legendary Reggae Icon Bob Marley, will pay a special tribute to his dad by singing the song "Dear Dad", a letter he wrote to GOD after his Dad passed when Ky-mani was just a child; he later composed the letter into a song, which became a big hit. Ky-mani will also cover some of Bob’s greatest hits.

We will also feature out of Barbados, Allison Hinds. Crowned the undisputed "Queen of SOCA" by fans worldwide, her powerful, emotional vocals and high energy live shows are legendary to Caribbean music fans. Among SOCA QUEEN’s standout tracks is "Roll It Gal", an energetic dance track as well as an empowering girl power anthem, "Roll It Gal" shot to the top of the charts in Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean almost instantly upon its initial release in '05.

Reggae Queen Marcia Griffiths will be on hand to reel out hits after hits, with a special segment uniting all nations in dance with her mega hit "The Electric Slide, Boogie Woogie Woogie". This masterful performer a 30 – year veteran toured with the great Bob Marley, as one of the "I three's".

Marcia will be a treat to the multicultural audience expected at this event.

Chutney music is a form of music indigenous to the southern Caribbean ( primarily Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname ) which derives elements from Soca and India Film songs.

The music was created by Indo-Caribbean’s who were transported to the West Indies as indentured servants and later immigrants during the 19th century. We are proud to present the King’s of Chutney Music Roplal G and Adesh Samaroo from Trinidad. This up tempo Afro/Indian blend will thrill South Florida with its haunting rhythms.

A favorite among the ladies of the Caribbean is the very melodic and exciting LUST, consisting of Singing Melody, Thriller U, Luky D and Tony Curtis, four individual artists who have made their names as solo performers, came together to form one dynamic Group.

Their stage performance is Exciting and will leave a long lasting impression on the audience.

To round off this diverse group of entertainers we welcome Michelle Riu, Michelle is of Cuban ancestry, she fuses her roots with Southern sensibilities, making her songs a welcome addition to the often-nebulous pop-country genre. Her thick, smoky warble is evocative of Joss Stone; her twangy inflection reveals the influence of Patsy Cline; and she occasionally employs a Susan Tedeschi growl for texture. Her debut CD, Up Down and Strange, began as a collection of songs and spoken-word performances intended for a much smaller group of listeners.

The Florida Melody Makers Band and Code Red Band, are two Florida groups that will perform at the MAQ T 20 "Cricket Nights to Remember". These two bands will cover top Reggae and Soca hits from the Caribbean.

The MAQ T20 International Cricket Tournament ’08 will take place Memorial Day Weekend, Cricketers from India, Pakistan, West Indies, USA and rest of the world compete against each other in an exciting 20/20 Cricket Tournament.
