Mr. Dale spreading his addictionPort-Of-Spain, Trinidad - Jan. 14th 2008

Dale Rudder a.k.a "Mr. Dale" has definitely played his part in preventing us soca addicts from "kicking" our habit, with the release of his video for the track "Soca Junkie".

The video for the song that won him the titles of Road March Champion and People's Monarch at Barbados' Cropover 2007, has been recently released in the land of steelpan and calypso, Trinidad and Tobago just in time for the 2008 Carnival celebrations.

The high quality video was the production of famed music video director Jay Will and it humourously depicts the effects on human beings afflicted with a dependency on mas playing, flag waving, rags and of course sweet soca music (the elements of Carnival Culture).

The video has been in constant rotation on television networks in T&T since its recent debut and is poised to make a grand ascension to the top of each video countdown chart.

The singer/songwriter famous for tunes such as "Kaylaylay" and "Born Fuh Dis" will be further intoxicating "socaholics" with his music and performance, as his physical prescence will be felt in T&T's Carnival as he competes in the International Soca Monarch with the intention of claiming the Groovy Soca Monarch Title from friend and fellow Barbadian artiste Biggie Irie.

Look out for Mr. Dale's brand new video "Soca Junkie" (see on TJJ TV) and be prepared to be taken to a new level of Soca High!
