Reggae Artist Verse iTal Launches Debut Album Love Cry on March 26th at Coco Lounge
The rap flavour is no mistake either. Verse rekindled his childhood passion for music and writing while at University in Philadelphia- an environment rich with strong urban and street music influences. This reggae/ rap fusion characteristic of Verse Ital's recordings gives discerning listeners that something extra, the wild card that promises that this young artist has only given us a glimpse of what he has to offer: lyrics you cannot ignore and rhythms you don't want to resist. Two songs have already been released from the nine-track album, "Jah Puzzle" a critical look at world leaders and their obliviousness to their obligation to fit into Jah's plan; and "Nyquil" a comical look at the effects of a passionate evening spent with Verse. His first music video artistically combines both songs and can be seen on several local stations as well as on MTV's latest international offering Tempo. On March 26th, Love Cry will be officially launched at a special Media invited cocktail reception at Coco Lounge, Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook. hundred percent local. Verse iTal represents one of the growing number of young
artists daring to explore the Jamaican art form that we have enjoyed for decades.
