Tempo, the Caribbean’s premier entertainment network is pleased to announce special anniversary programming to begin airing on November 21st. To celebrate the success and future of the network, and give thanks to its passionately committed audience, Tempo has put together flashback episodes of your favorite shows featuring the best moments of the past year. Hosted by Tempo’s VJ’s -- Downtown Island, Inside the Rhythm, Pull Up Selecta, and Rockin You will take you back to the very beginning. As an added bonus Tempo has created several new specials which will count down the top videos of Tempo’s first year.

Downtown Island -- Tempo’s VJ’s Anushca and Jeanille look back at one year recalling their favorite moments, performances, interviews and bloopers throughout all the islands visited this year. Watch as our beautiful Caribbean Queen’s search for monkeys in the rainforest of Nevis, and represent Haiti at New York City’s Labor Day Carnival.

Inside the Rhythm: Rewind -- The entire Tempo family (Frederick Morton, Anushca, Jeanille Bonterre, Dahved Levy, Jabba, and Hector Lincoln) gather for a very special toast to one year of success. With each VJ representing their respective shows (Frederick representing Inside The Rhythm) they will revisit the most memorable moments that aired, and show you exclusive footage that never made the final cut.

Ziggy Marley’s Countdown -- Tempo created a brand new special featuring Ziggy’s top five Marley family tunes. Included in this half hour special is the Julian Marley hit “Harder Dayz,” never before aired on Tempo.

Shurwayne’s Top Ten -- Also new programming; Shurwayne counts down his top ten Soca videos while hitting the streets of Times Square to teach New Yorkers how to wine up their waists. First time Soca listeners are wowed by renowned Caribbean artists including Alison Hinds, Maximus Dan, Surge, and Machel Montano.

Pull Up Selecta -- Tempo digs into the archives to show you a never before seen interview with Grammy award winning superstar Sean Paul. We’ve also assembled exclusive concert footage from Baby Cham, Macka Diamond, Julian Marley, Richie Spice and Beenie Man.

Rockin U -- This special features the best of Shurwayne Winchester, Richie Spice, Admiral Bailey, Kevin Lyttle, and Rayvon free styling live on Dahved Levy’s New York City radio show. Viewers also get behind the scenes footage of artist’s bloopers as well as RudeBoy Dahved's controversial conversations with the ladies he loves to love!!!

For one year Tempo has successfully delivered programming dedicated to music, culture, food, and social awareness; a true celebration of Caribbean life beyond entertainment, rising to inspirational, progressive and educational. Tempo is dedicated to delivering the full scope of Caribbean culture to the entire world, challenging them to declare ONE LOVE, a “united expression of unconditional love.”

"I am extremely thankful for the love of Caribbean people and the many blessings Tempo has received over the past year. As we reflect on the past and look to the future, we wanted to celebrate the vision and mission of Tempo, to unite the Caribbean through culture. As Tempo turns one, we celebrate the "oneness" that is being created......to raise One flag, as we are truly One people united together in One cause, moving to the beat of One Tempo for the elevation of One Caribbean. So Caribbean People, Tempo loves you.....let's celebrate our channel as Tempo Turns One” said Frederick Morton, Senior Vice President, General Manager, and founder of TEMPO.
