Once again we have had another great year of events and despite the obstacles, you all came out, partied and showed the power of the SSU family. So thank you to everyone who was able to attend and even those who missed out but supported us in spirit; we hope to see you in the coming year.

Like with any other family one of the traditions of Christmas is giving and receiving presents and for us at SSU it is better to give than to receive. This year is no exception; we have an early present for you all. We are adding a new attraction to our lineup of events for Carnival 2016. It is our pleasure to present to you the Sunny Side Up Jouvert Cooler Party.

Next year we will be taking our Carnival Thursday February 4th 2016, jump up to the Anchorage, Chaguaramas. This is your pre-Jouvert preparation, a cooler party featuring foam, chocolate and of course SSU brand bacchanal. Patrons will receive the official SSU Jouvert package of branded T-shirt, SSU mug and tote bag. All are encouraged to add their own creativity to their t-shirts. You can add your paint, beads, sparkles and make your modifications (t-shirts to sleeveless or tank tops) just keep it grown and sexy. There are limited priced tickets @ 300TTD/50USD with ticket sales and registration beginning Dec 5th from 10am at ssujouvertcooler.eventbrite.com so get yours early; do not be left out. Distribution will be the week of the event with further details on time and location of distribution to be announced.

We will be partying from 4am to 10am to the sweetest selection of soca music provided by the world class DJs of Back 2 Basics, Nuphoric, Artiste Team and CIN. We advise you stock up on your snake oil, practice your squats; we want no stiffness in this dance! So organize your crew and be prepared for jammishness.

Get your coolers ready (no oversized coolers will be allowed; they cannot exceed a maximum size of 3ft x 2ft x 2ft). Fill them up with drinks for your crew and even some to share with a passing friend, you never know who will pass-by to share a drink! Take note that no glass bottles will be allowed. If you can’t get a cooler, that’s no problem, we can provide you with one filled with ice and your choice of rum, vodka, scotch whiskey and cognac with your favourite chasers.  Your cooler will be prepared and waiting for you at the party.

This is the prequel before the main SSU event, so leave the selfie behavior and “divatude” at the door. This ain't a fashion show NO POSING, its wine and jam time and if you look smart drinks can magically appear in front you and poured down your mouth without warning. So “If yuh stush go in de bush!”
