There’s no sound on earth that can compete with the power and the glory of a big steel orchestra in full flow at Panorama, the UKs national steelband championship.

Arrive early, then wait for the ting-tingting that starts off another spine-tingling display of artistry in steel. The passion of the flag-waving crowd ensures the atmosphere is often electric. There will be food and drinks (though not alcoholic ones) on sale.

You haven’t truly been to carnival if you’ve never been to Panorama, so come along and be part of a revolution!
