Bonner Cornerstone recording artist Spanner Banner is disappointed that he did not get an opportunity to perform for his fans, on the recently held Jagra GT Taylor’s Christmas Reggae Extravaganza which was staged at Independence Park in Black River, St. Elizabeth. Spanner Banner was officially billed to perform on the Christmas day event. However he was prevented from doing so by controversial stage manager Worrell King, despite being in the venue hours before his scheduled performance time which was 2 AM.

Spanner Banner and his management team arrived at the venue twenty minutes before midnight. Up on their arrival they went and spoke to Worrell King who acknowledged the fact that Spanner Banner was scheduled to perform at 2 AM; he told them that the show was running a little bit behind schedule, however they should not worry about that as the artist would still perform at 2 AM. Spanner Banner says that at about 1:30 AM his representatives approached another member of the event’s production team, who told them that several other artists would be performing before Spanner Banner.

On getting this information they approached Worrell King to sort out the situation. However as it turned out Worrell King would not speak to them. However Spanner Banner waited patiently but was never called to perform. This experience has left Spanner Banner and his management team very upset.

Bonner Cornerstone Music and Spanner Banner are concerned about the damage that has been done to his career. As people who do not know what happened will think that he is becoming a no show artist. A spokesperson from the company says that they can’t believe that Spanner Banner treated so disrespectfully. The spokesperson also said that it is a shame to know that such a very talented artist who has a very professional track record in the music business and has contributed to the music industry in a positive way for almost two decades can be treated in such a disdainful manner.
