His name is Super Jigga TC and in Carnival 2010, the world will scream his name at every fete, ever all-inclusive and on carnival Monday and Tuesday even. His hits this season have thus far, taken him on a truly memorable journey, one that saw him compete in the semi-final round of both the Groovy and Power Soca Monarch competitions on Sunday and in the end, stamp his signature swag all over the Arima Veledrome.

There’s no stopping him. He knows what he’s been able to do this season and last Sunday, the proof was in the performance- both performances, which captured the physically young and young at heart, getting them to sing, chant and ‘cock dey’ bam bam’ too!

Terrin Callender takes nothing at face value, but he is confident that the crowd response and the constant calls he’s been receiving in the past couple days, means something. It means, he’s left his mark and now, he must come through stronger than ever, when he performs at the International Groovy and Power Soca Monarch Competitions on Fantastic Friday. There’s no cockiness to his confidence, he just knows he’s been accepted and he knows the people yearn to call his name again- but that shout of appreciation will be in the biggest soca showcase arena for the Carnival season!

“Get ready T&T! Wha is meh name….?,” says Super Jigga TC, with a chuckle. He knows he’s got the masses in  the palm of his hands.
