I would be happy to attend this event again. The DJ wasn't too top notch *cough cough* but other than, that everything was first class. In the DJ's defense, he did try ah thing!

I would be happy to attend this event again. The DJ wasn't too top notch *cough cough* but other than, that everything was first class. In the DJ's defense, he did try ah thing!

CROWD:
This crowd was a fairly mixed crowd - some old (young at heart), some young - both came with leggings and gun mouth pants fully strapped, and best yet, everybody found their own beat.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
UWI Social Club is opposite to guess what? U.W.I. They used the Staff Club, and it had parking in the university's TGR Car Park which was patrolled whole night. Always good to know that your car is safely parked!

VIBES:
Alison Hinds mashed up the place and even came back to lime afterwards as her adoring fans kept coming to ask for pictures. People were pulling out cameras from left right and center, even their cell phones with horrible cameras to get their candid shots with the Bajan Soca star. JMC 3Veni performed afterwards, and well, that was the first time for me. Karma followed, where lead singer Ravi B. had to rub in his competitors faces that he is the new Chutney King! Or at least, he should have done so! :-)

FOOD/DRINK:
The first thing on my agenda upon entering this fete was to eat! I maintained some Wontons and some nice Chinese. All kinds of things popped up after such as BBQ Chicken, fries and Bake & Shark. The food just kept on coming. No complaints here!! Then free drinks, including a Premium bar ... just the very thought of it made me thirsty. This fete even had  ice cream for me to play with. Yesssss!!

SERVICE:
I like Ricky's style.... When you doing it, DO IT BIG! We were greeted by sexy people at the door promoting Jack Daniels. We were entertained by both local and Bajan acts, and we sat down and watched the ladies dance with tasty Chinese food in we hands!!

COST/VALUE:
At $333.00TT, this is a cheap All Inclusive when compared to what's happening now-a-days. Props to Rick City Promotions Ltd.
