CROWD:
Following from the SLAM Motorcade the previous day SLAM held a beach fete at Boatyard beach bar where a young and funky crowd turned up for what was promised to be the hardest beach fete so far this year!
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The Boatyard is a great bar/club venue set on one of Bim's beautiful beaches with a fully stocked bar and easily accessible venue right on the outskirts of town.
VIBES:
The music, delivered by a host of SLAM DJ's & MC's including Verseewild and King Bubba pleased the crowd with a mixture of current tunes and old skool favorites. Although the music and the vibes were great we were wanting to see something a lil extra given the hype, preferably something on the beach as most of the fete was held in the bar/club area.
FOOD/DRINK:
It was a cash bar, with drink deals all night, which kept the lively crowd satisfied.
SERVICE:
All staff and promoters at the event were very polite the service was as fast as could be expected.
COST/VALUE:
At only $20 entrance it made great entertainment for a Sunday evening.
