It’s Easter Sunday and we’re still coming down from our high from Beach J’Ouvert, which took place the night before. A quick BBM to one of the Absolute Entertainment promoters (and long time friend), and it wasn’t long before we got picked up at our hotel and personally escorted onto the sands of Reggae Beach, Ocho Rios for the 9th staging of the super all inclusive premium event, LUAU.

CROWD:
It wasn't an uptown crowd... it wasn't a downtown crowd ... but it definitely was a crowd that came out to party and enjoy themselves. And once you have ladies dressed in swimsuits or sexy beachwear, you cannot go wrong! Right fellas? Our cameras also spotted former international cricketer Courtney Walsh in the building!

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
After a 1-2 minute walk down hill, was the actual party venue main entrance, which had two blow-torches intermittently blasting off flames on the top. Partygoers were literally partying on the sands of Reggae Beach, and we actually liked what Absolute Entertainment did with the venue. Elevated areas for both VIP and DJs, bars throughout the venue, food station towards the back (beach front) and several mini bonfires on the beach.

VIBES:
One thing that stood out on the night was the ALL-STAR musical line up at Luau. It featured... Walshy Fire of Black Chiney, Kurt Riley, Renegade, Renaissance Disco, 3rd Dimension, DJ Karyzma, DJ Radcliffe and a few more surprises. It was Grade A music and pure level vibes! Big up we boy Dawg-E-Slaughter of X-caliber International on the inside.

FOOD/DRINK:
For $3000 JA, your throat was wet ALL night long! For $5000 JA limited VIP, we talking Waiter Service, Premium Liquor, Sushi, Lobster, Shrimp and much more!! Luckily, we managed to grab a bite of Sushi on our way out. :-)

SERVICE:
Never more than a 1-2 minute wait at any of the bars, and the bartenders were mixing the drinks just how they love to mix drinks in JA... STRONG! Food lines kept moving smoothly, and access to the VIP area was nicely secured.  The body painting tent was a hit, especially with the ladies.

Absolute Entertainment, thanks again for the hospitality! Alex, large up!! We'll see you at the next event!
