It seems as if the there is no limit to Pleasure Time recording artist Don Sniper’s versatility. The dancehall singjay/producer has continued to display his creativity both as an artist and a producer since his emergence on the local music scene. Several of his rhythm projects have spawned popular dancehall numbers for the likes of Portmore Empire boss Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man and Lady Saw.

Don Sniper has also made an impact on the local airwaves and the dancehall with several of his own recordings such as How Many, Gal Yuh A Murder and the soca influenced No Body Business.   He recently teamed up with veteran dancehall artist Mad Cobra to record his latest single which is a techno influenced track titled I Like To Party.

Don Sniper says that he decided to record I Like to Party after returning home from a recent trip to the Bahamas, where he performed at an event called Caribbean Collaboration at the Arawak Key Fish Fry in Nassau alongside Beenie Man, Jah Cure, Gyptian and Etana.

“After I came back from Nassau I decided to record a new single. I wanted to do something different so I went into the studio to do some work with Kalfani who is the musician who creates most of the beats for my songs. As an artist I want my music to appeal to various markets and since I had already experimented with soca music I decided to do a techno track. After we made the rhythm and I recorded the song Mad Cobra heard it and told me he liked it and we decided to make it into a collab,” said Don Sniper.
