New York based Trinidadian fashion designer Winston Jack is returning to his homeland to share his heritage at Trinidad & Tobago Fashion Week May 30 – June 6, 2010.  He has shown his collections at many events, which includes, Jamrock magazine’s “Rock with Squeeze” and Irie Jam’s Caribbean Fashion Rocks. Color Heritage Apparel is set to rock this year’s Fashion Week with an eclectic mix of its cutting edge roots wear collection on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad.

Winston was a senior designer for Rapper Jay-Z and Mogul Dame Dash’s well acclaimed and commercially successful Rocawear and State Property Apparel for seven years before launching Color Heritage Apparel.  Color Heritage Apparel is more than clothing, but a lifestyle brand designed for the culturally minded, the bold and the many who dared to be different and is a perfect fit for those personalities and ethnicities worldwide. Winston brings roots and culture to the center stage of mainstream fashion with his street style cutting edge collection.  Color Heritage brings to life “originally designed Premium Roots and Culture fashion at all times,” has been worn by many artists including Marlon Asher, JaMelody, Isasha & Million Voice (Trinidad), Judah Tribe, Khari Kill, and Jah Bami (Brooklyn), as well as other international artists such as Taurus Riley, Bush Man and Gyptian (Jamaica), Meta and the Cornerstone (Senegal), Teddy Afro (Ethiopia) and most recently Third World Band (Jamaica).

Trinidad & Tobago has been one of the most fashion forward countries in the Caribbean. In its third year of hosting Fashion Week, (labeled FWTT3 - Fashion Week Trinidad & Tobago 3) the eight-day event will take place on both sister isle Tobago at Pigeon Point and the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad.

A true “son of the soil,” Winston having made his mark on various countries over the years, is back to share The Color Heritage Movement with his people. Color Heritage Apparel will be showing on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 8pm at the Hyatt Regency.  For more information on Color Heritage Apparel, go to http://www.colorheritage.com and for information on FWTT3, go to www.fwtt.org.
