Much love to B2B Ent and all the DJs that lined up to mash up the Village for Memorial Day! We love you as much as you guys love us! ;) We ready for the long hot summer!

CROWD:

Shine brought out the craziest, wickedest crowd I have ever seen in Brooklyn! It was definitely the talk of the town for Memorial Day weekend. People boastin on twitter whole day bout how their going to be in Shine real early Monday afternoon. Literally everybody and their momma was in Shine, with no behavior what so ever. Soca Queen Ms. Alison Hinds blessed us with a hot performance, and Mr. All Ova D Gyal, Lyrikal stopped by and we even caught Tallpree in the crowd. It was such a ginormous, mixed crowd, we had no idea where to begin! Is this what we are up for, for the summer fetes?! Mercy pon us!

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The Village is definitely going to be the spot for the hottest summer fetes. Nothing but space for people to behave bad! The Village is right in the heart of what we can now really consider to be a Soca Village. Parking was a pain though, with so many people in that one place, and another party across the street in Tikki Village, we had to troop blocks and blocks but it was worth it.

VIBES:
The most ridiculous vibe ever! Never seen anything like it. These people were definitely jumpin from fete to fete this entire weekend and were no where near out of energy. From start to finish, they were jumpin' up and gettin' on insane!!! Some had to get carried out, because they had reached their limit.

FOOD/DRINKS:
Empty bottles upon empty bottles upon more empty bottles of the Johnny, Moet, Nuvo, Grey Goose, filled the Village floor, and people still lined up at the bar to buy more! What is your liver made out of!? . . . Steel?! Gosh, guys slow down on the alcohol please! The bake and shark line was ridiculously long but the food smelt so delicious. Yumm! :)

SERVICE:
Security was in full force. I don't know how they managed to control such a large crowd. It must have been that big ass dog layin out front.

COST/VALUE:
You better had gotten your ticket for $25 in advance or find a friend with an extra. This fete bumped up to $45 at the door!
