CROWD:
We hardly ever get long weekends here in the US, and you obviously can tell that people took full advantage of this extra day. Few people started waltzing in around 3pm, most of them stood under the tent that was provided..... say "YAY" for that, because the sun had no mercy on Monday. I felt like I was melting!! Most of the crowd I guess, were socializing or the alcohol didn't hit their blood as yet.  As the evening went by, people started pouring in, most were already tipsy and so the dance was on full blast.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Nothing says "Summer" than paper lanterns! With hardly a cloud in the sky, 80+ degree weather and these lanterns were suspended in air it gave the venue (Volume 2 Mas Camp) a summery feel.

VIBE:
While I was waiting outside when I first got there, the music was poppin off!!!! From Erykah Badu to Major Lazer. The music was off the hook!!!!!! People were going crazy in the latter half of the party.... I think they "palanced" until they had no toes! :-)

FOOD & DRINKS:
I have no complaints about the food. That was the highlight of the day for me. When I trekked over the empty bottles of Johnny & Grey goose, I stood in line hoping, wishing that I could get my hands on some Callaloo....... didn't happen! Instead I grabbed some Corn Soup because the rest of the food was finished. I must stress, the corn soup was one the BEST I've ever tasted!!!!!!!! Bartenders were beautiful and rather dashing in their sequin one shoulder dresses. They made waiting at the bar an experience.... they were full of life and not snobbish.

SERVICE:
Security did a great job. There were no long lines when I got there, which was awesome because I couldn't stand waiting in the sun for any long period..... TOO HOT!

COST/VALUE:
It was totally worth the 25 bucks!!! Vibes was nice, food was nice, and drinks were pouring from some magical spring (or so it seem)...

Shout to the DJs, the girls sweating on the podium and the corn soup lady! And of course, big up to Natalie L!!!
