Our Fourth of July weekend was filled with events straight through. Lord knows how we managed to make it, especially in this 100 degree weather. Our hot feet led us from one spot to the next. After being out in the hot sun the entire morning, on Basic Madness, we took a breath, and headed straight over to one of the chicest parties of the summer, Under The Trees. Of course, we TJJ girlies were a tad bit fashionably late, and according to my Twitter timeline that day, UNDER THE TREES WAS CRAZY! Nothing but drunken tweets bout how ram the fete was, how much bottles of Johnny who finish since they reach, and which DJs tearin down d place with straight tunes! Gosh! Still can’t believe we missed out on so much! *super sad face*

When we reached, it was totally beyond ram, there were people pouring out onto the sidewalk and street. There was a lot of commotion about party-goers still trying to get in the venue, although it was completely packed on the inside. It seemed like when we reached, so did New York’s Finest. NYPD was on patrol and was ready to shut it down! We quickly entered a state of depression; this is not how our 4th of July suppose to end. Once we reached the car and started to drive off, a magical call came in that was music to our ears. Under The Trees was still on and poppin! Thanks NYPD for giving us a bligh, we appreciate it.

We finally, after all the drama on the outside made it inside to a whole different world. The décor was fabulous. Trees wrapped in barrage of white lights, silver stars and disco balls hung from its branches. Once night fell, it was a gorgeous scene, fit for fabulous photos; my kind of atmosphere. The amount of people in that party was ridiculous. Despite it being semi-shutdown and a crowd of people leaving, there place was still flooded with beautiful people, bumsee’s touchin d ground, bottles of liquor all about! Oh Gosh! Still vex we missed out on the earlier events! . . . Especially the complimentary buffet! :(

After limin for a bit, catchin some flicks and running into a bunch of lovely faces . . . Police in d session yet again! This time it was official. The party had come to an end. Officer McHottie and his partners stuck around though and limed for a bit till the venue was just about completely clear. Of course, party-goers socialized, posed for last minute flicks, while situating the next movement for the night. Much love and special thanks to Marcia, Sharon and Fari for hosting such a lovely event and kudos to you ladies for the insane turn out! TJJ will be at the next fete bright and early, don’t wanna miss a thinggg!

- Junior Juice, over and out!
