International Wednesdays, a new event to hit the block @ Godai Entertainment Lounge in Woodbrook, Port of Spain; a small but trendy location for a nice lime. Being the first of many to come, the turnout was not the greatest. Plus is a weekday, so is either the hardcore ravers or the unemployed could manage a mid-week party like this.

Nonetheless, the vibe was decent; most people were approachable. Too much standing at d' side at the start though.. next time let's get the feel good vibe going from early nah people! The best mix of hip-hop, dancehall, soca and more... with the likes of DJ J2M and others taking charge on the decks, things certainly picked up as the night went on.

Customer service at the bar was good and drink prices were acceptable. Well I re-familiarising myself with prices in Trini, but from what I heard on the night, the prices were near what is considered average. I certainly can't say I didn't have a good time, it was good seeing some old faces and getting to know new ones.

I hope to see this particular event grow in popularity.
