One thing that always sets the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. party apart from all other soca parties in South Fl, its the folks who attened. Truely the mature and sexy crowd was in attendance this night, folks we have not seen since, well the last F.R.I.E.N.D.S. CROWD:
One thing that always sets the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. party apart from all other soca parties in South Fl, its the folks who attended. Truely the mature and sexy crowd was in attendance this night, folks we have not seen since, well the last F.R.I.E.N.D.S. There was a decent sized crowd on the night, and with the 3 birthday celebrations going on there were nuff ladies in the dance.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
We have not been to Sosta since, well the last F.R.I.E.N.D.S. it looks pretty much the same, with new floors and some well placed fans around the venue to keep it cool and with the guys at sixAxis Ent also taking over the space outside on the sidewalk, it made for enough room to move and dance comfortably without getting to ram and hot.
VIBES:
During the night you could just feel the old familiar F.R.I.E.N.D.S vibe that we had not felt in so long, you could also see folks who had not seen each other in quite a while greeting each other, some with a hug, others with a wine. It was also a reunion of sorts for DJs Major Links who had not been in the F.R.I.E.N.D.S line up for over a year and along with House Arrest, CIDee Sound and Private Ryan kept the crowd moving with a variety of music all night long from Soca to dancehall to HipHop.
FOOD/DRINKS:
As usual there was Corn Soup from D'Joser being served, don't tell anybody but this is one of the main reasons we come is for the corn soup. And if you dont keep your eye open for folks walking around with styrofoam cups you could very well miss out on the Soup.
SERVICE:
We always appreciate a well staffed bay, who knows how to work quickly and keep the drinks flowing, so we dont spend out night at the bar.
COST/VALUE:
We, as were many others were glad for the return of F.R.I.E.N.D.S and we cant wait for the next event, the highly anticipated OASIS Charity Cooler Fete.
