Marlon Smart and Marlon Thoulouis, “M&M”, the team with both talent and ambition, came together to create ‘Chloris’- Goddess of Flowers, Sugar Cane Restaurant’s section in Ramajay’s 2010 Labor Day Mas Band. On Monday evenings the restaurant is usually closed, but tonight it was filled with excited people waiting in anticipation to see what this section had to offer and ...

Marlon Smart and Marlon Thoulouis, “M&M”, the team with both talent and ambition, came together to create ‘Chloris’- Goddess of Flowers, Sugar Cane Restaurant’s section in Ramajay’s 2010 Labor Day Mas Band. On Monday evenings the restaurant is usually closed, but tonight it was filled with excited people waiting in anticipation to see what this section had to offer and boy was that wait worth it. Chloris is absolutely beautiful. I never really play on the Parkway but after one look at this costume my mind was changed instantly.
Food check - There was a variety of tasty finger foods available and presented on a backdrop of the costume colors of baby blue and purple.
Drinks check – Plenty of liquor at special prices just right for the one just needing a little something to take the edge off after a long and hectic work day.
Music check – Music was by Sugarcane's in-house DJ Young Starr whose enormous sound provided a great vibe and had everyone grooving til time for the show. While we waited we took pictures of all the fashion diva's and their well put together outfits; amazingly dressed, beautiful people to make the event just right. The costume presentation was accompanied by local artist "Lyrikal", who had the people doing a “dance-off” in the middle of the floor wining to his monster hit all ‘Over de Gyal’ and his new single ‘Ramajay’ that I happen to love. This was a nice lil laid back after work lime .
