When the Renaissance Disco celebrates its 21st anniversary on August 7, the festivities will be see a Blackjack theme in full effect.

According to Renaissance top selector Delano Thomas, the Blackjack theme promises to be quite exciting. ‘Just like poker blackjack, Renaissance can be considered as the highest hand in music and party production. Blackjack means 21 which signifies 21 years of the existence of the sound. We also see the blackjack theme as a viable way to have an all black party, which is quite the opposite of our Christmas All White party’, said Thomas.

The Renaissance 21st anniversary party will take place at the Palisadoes Go Kart Track. The event will see the Renaissance Disco’s cadre of selectors as well as special guest selectors, pumping the latest in party music.

Pressed on what patrons can expect at the event, Thomas said ‘The musical selections will consist of extreme high energy – pulsing hits – in keeping with the standard of a high end Blackjack excellence- all inclusive drinks all night. The food area setup with parallel casino booths and will be accessible to patrons in our royal suites. Women dressed in high roller attire and swagger, will be selected from the crowd randomly, to pop bottles with the Renaissance dealers’.

Thomas pointed out that the love and appreciation for the music, has kept Renaissance a viable brand after 21 years. ‘We have always kept up with what patrons expect from a good event and we have delivered to them in the best way possible’, said Thomas.

The recipient of the Sound System of the Year award on multiple occasions, Renaissance Disco’s new crop of Djs include DJ Ital, DJ Blaze and television personality Joel ‘DJ Kruddy’ Harrison.
As it relates to parking, Thomas promised that there will be allotted parking facilities for all patrons.

Ticket prices for the Renaissance Disco’s 21st anniversary party are as follows: General $1500; VIP $2500 (drink inclusive); and Royal Suites $2500 (all inclusive).

The ticket outlets include LG Service station at Dunrobin; Genus Pharmacy in Portmore; Total Service station at Harbour View and Liguanea; Xtras in Mall and Manor Park Plaza; Jus Call Couriers and Glamorous Boutique at Palm Plaza Portmore and Princeville on Constant Spring Road.
