Carnival Bliss hosted by D’Bandit was one of the last lap events of the Caribana 2010 season. This event was held at Seven, one of the hotspots in the downtown Toronto club district. After all the weeks of fete after fete after fete leading up to the Caribana weekend, this crowd was hyped as if it were just the beginning. Though this party catered to a slightly older crowd, they were far from mellow. They danced through the night until the very last song. Everyone seemed to be grooving to their own tune and there was a real irie vibe in the air.The dancefloor was packed with persons swaying along to the music of the legend Sparrow and the tunes of other musical icons and really did not leave an inch of room for those who did not have intentions of joining the fun.

Beautiful ladies adorned in mas’ costumes were the perfect compliment to the night’s theme.Their mere presence may have provided an atmosphere blissful enough for some as the costumes and ladies were both pleasing to the eye.

Patrons were allowed to experience the blissful ambiance on different levels of the club. The main floor provided the central dance area while the upper patio level allowed attendees to enjoy the party in a more relaxed setting with some seating and tasty h'odeurves.

The highlight of the night was the palancin' dancefloor. The night would have been incomplete without one last palance before the end of the season. Faces lit up and hands flew up when it was time to palance. Three of four rounds later and they were still charged up and ready to go.

The party ended at about 3 a.m. to the surprise of some but the time spent at Carnival Bliss was time well spent. D’Bandit never disappoints and as usual, we here at the TJJ family look forward to his next event.
