The inaugural FestCaribbean presented by Eniko Entertainment Inc. will bring more attention to Brantford city
Brantford, ON, August 10, 2010: On August 21, 2010 the inauguration of FestCaribbean will take place at the Brantford Civic Centre. The event is presented by Eniko Entertainment Inc. a newly formed entertainment company out of Brantford.
Their mission is to help generate an appreciation for the diverse cultures represented in the Brantford area.
Their primary focus is Caribbean arts and culture but their scope extends to cultures beyond the Caribbean realm.
FestCaribbean is dedicated to quality arts and culture by showcasing the best Canadian and international artists and performers.
This is a one of a kind festival in Brantford which is committed to creating a fun and hospitable atmosphere for patrons and entertainers alike.
Doors open at 2 p.m. inaugural presentation 6.00 p.m. and performances begins at 6.30 p.m. Performers are, Epic IO Brantford’s number one dance crew, Dance Caribe, one of Canada’s top Caribbean folk dance groups, Michael “Visionary” Thompson out of Toronto will bring his electrifying reggae performance to the stage, Kalabash, whose infused blend of American jazz stylings and Caribbean rhythmic flavors, with instruments that include brass and steel pan is sure to whet the appetites of all those in attendants. The headlining act for this year’s event is Brantford’s own Colour Quest who will light the stage on fire as it always does. Dj Dignitary Sound will supply the music that will lay the backdrop for what will be a mind blowing evening of Caribbean music and dance.

perhaps some more advertising...we drove to brantford market around 11 today and saw the sign but there was nothing about the time so we drove back home and googled it, to find that it starts at 2. we could have planned our day better had we been aware of the time and knew that it was going on today.
