CROWD:
Sexy but social...can we leave it at that ? Hmmm... probably not...lol! Definitely some Eye candy in the house, if a little stush:) TRIBE as usual always pulls a crowd and tonight was no different as they filled out this pretty huge venue once again. All the who's who was in the house...and if anyone from Trinidad reach Miami this was the place to find them! It took a while for this crowd to get going though; like the carnival spirit hadn't quite taken them yet or they were just too sexy to move very much :)

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Now we  must say Opium @ Hardrock is a pretty sexy venue and impressed us even for the 2nd time. It's huge with various levels and sections and 4 podiums for the hot dancers to shake what their mama gave them. The venue despite being stunning was easy to get to and find with secure parking...sweet!

VIBES:
For all the podium dancers and performances this fete just didn't get going until the very end by which point most people had filtered out to get some food before the next fete! There were 3 performances tonight...Shal Marshall, JW & Blaze and Swappi...Swappi was the Ladies favourite and JW & Blaze had everyone palancing over and over again and the vibes picked up temporarily! TRIBE used the 4 podium dancers to show off some costumes whilst strutting their stuff which of course meant a little circle of men surrounding them at all times. There were some good efforts to get this one moving but for the most people stood around and chatted to people they already knew..*yawn*! Right so now you have had your catch up peeps, get some energy for carnival !!

FOOD/DRINK:
Drinks were definitely flowing and there was definitely stacks of choice...everyone had a drink in their hand and the bar was never crowded, plus there was an extra bar on the top level that was pretty much empty most of the night so you could sneak up and stock up anytime! No food from what we can see...so it's off to Denny's or IHOP after before you hit the breakfast parties!

SERVICE
:
Bar staff were on point, Tribe committee were on hand and aside from the additional 'customs' checks at the entrance which held back some peeps! Service was (as you would expect from TRIBE) on point!

COST/VALUE:
Tickets were between $20 and $25 in advance and you would pay more at the door. This appeared at first glance to be pretty expensive (especially the door price) but we came to realise that this was actually a standard cost for most of the Miami fetes for which you get performances but no food or drinks...it would be cool for TRIBE to be a sweet all inclusive/ free drinks party at perhaps a slighly higher cost and that would have been all in all a great deal. For 2010 was it worth the cash? well if you got your ticket for $20 then yep agreed no problem...anything over that and we sorry it not worth it !

Big up to Swappi...most entertaining performance! We can't wait for the next set of dance moves:)
