CROWD:
The crowd was very family oriented. Kids ran around everywhere kicking soccer balls, playing chase, and dancing to the various musical artists. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. There were many vendor booths selling the likes of everything from Virgin Island apparel and trinkets to Organic coffee! A large crowd was on hand with a mixture of people.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The venue was adequate for the festival. Vendors had ample space to set up and sell their goods. There was a separate section for food/drink vendors that never seemed uncrowded. There were 2 downsides to the venue though—parking and the stage. Parking was difficult. I actually had to jump a curb and park even though I paid $5 to park? Then it took me another 10 minutes to walk to the area of the park where the festival was being held. The stage was also a little disappointing. There were some of V.I.’s best artists performing on a makeshift “trailer” stage.  Due to the primitive nature of the stage there was no “jump up” in the artist’s performance so songs like “Palance” were under-performed

VIBES:
The vibe of the festival was very family friendly. If I had known that it was going to be laid-back as it was, I would have definitely brought my family. There was a nice calmness and secured feeling that circulated the entire time I was there.  The cool vibe kept going for the evening.

FOOD/DRINK:
There was V.I. cuisine from a few different vendors. One of the highlights of the food vendors was the pineapple mango drink that was actually served in a carved out pineapple! The vendors did a great job in providing good food and drinks.

SERVICE:
Service was good. Everything was all family oriented.

COST/VALUE:
A good cost in comparison to what was available.

If you were looking for a place to unite with people of V.I., then this would be the place. There would have been no other place of value. Other that catching up with old friends while meeting new ones, your children had sufficient room to play, soca music played continuously in the foreground, delectable West Indian cuisine was being served and musical entertainment at its fullest complemented the carnival celebrations
