D.D.I ... the three letters that made Saturday November 6th the best Saturday everrr!!!! Scorch had their down the islands party and boy it was nonstop action from beginning to end. There were these boats that took you to the island (Gasparee Islands) on what seemed like a FOREVER boat ride. But once that boat docked and party started you realised it was worth the wait!!!
The party was up, down, in the pool on the next side and in the water. And if we didn't plan to get wet, rain made sure our plans were ruined. Thank goodness the organisers said wear beach wear. And the men my oh my, Scorch should have a men's issue just for those men present! And well we know Scorch ladies always bess so we aint really need to talk about them! But dey was bess.... In all the bikinis!! Sigh....
Don't remember where drinks came from, whose cooler I stormed, but the party had so much vibes that people didn't seem to mind the cooler looting. And then there was the pork man! I dunno where he came from but his timing was great. I just needed a little snack to sustain me and that pig was just in time. Dj's were also very on point. Shot Master J and Assassin had people wining like it was Carnival to all kinda music not just soca! The ride home was a little shaky as it was dark and people heads were gone but we all got home safely and anticipation remains high for the next DDI.
