A lot of times in T&T we happen to overhear conversation in which people often say “boy … it really eh have nuttin’ to do yes”. Well we are not too sure exactly what kind of entertainment they are looking for, but if they know half of what we do, they will definitely never get bored!!

Now there is a Movie Towne in Port of Spain, and one in Price Plaza Chaguanas as well. The one in Price Plaza however, is fast becoming up to par with its Port of Spain counterpart, and to officially endorse this statement, on Wednesday 15th December Woodford Café held its launch celebrations down in the Borough of Chaguanas.

There was plenty to eat … plenty to drink and we heard that even the Mayor of Chaguanas, the honorable Mr. Orlando Nagessar was present to cut the “ribbon.” After the formalities, things went into the usual socializing atmosphere that we have come to expect from Woodford. At 1 AM however, some extra Adrenaline was injected into the crowd with a performance from the band Karma who was also joined by TC for a short bit. It was real action and excitement up in the place … and on a Wednesday too!

Well it seems like they are off to a good start down here in “central” Trinidad. This new Woodford is quite spacious, offering both indoor upstairs and downstairs dining as well as outdoor accommodations as well. Not to mention each area has its own bar facilities … talk about convenience. So people if you missed the launch and haven’t been as yet … do check it out. Don’t let others tell you how good it is! Coming at ya from way past the lighthouse …
