Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. January 11, 2011 - There’s never a question of giving up when your passion drives your creative senses.

For Kevon Joseph, known by his sobriquet KK, music is life and through music, he lives. Ahead of Carnival 2011, the Trinidad native who has lived in sister isle Tobago since the age of 17, has released another collaborative single following an earlier release entitled, “Fun Time” alongside Jason “Fridge” Seecharan.

This time around, KK’s blending his vocals with a Soca sister out of St. Lucia, known as Shirla Slim. The track entitled, “H.O.T.Z” is one for the groovy charts and with background vocals provided by Fridge, there’s no denying the melodic trance this one’s capable of inspiring.

“H.O.T.Z” was produced collaboratively by MillBeatz Entertainment and Stone Tower Studio with mastering done at Mad Men Productions in Trinidad. The song’s inviting nature leaves a good impression on the soul and is capable of encouraging any music lover to just hum along when the spirit so incites.

Trinidad’s sister isle has in the past few years produced a number of strong musicians and KK is no exception. With a driven desire to perfect the art form he so loves, and an even greater will to achieve regional recognition, the young and upcoming artiste is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that his career gets the best possible opportunity to grow. Following the release of this second track for the season, KK will release a video for “H.O.T.Z,” which he believes will be just the thing to capture audiences across the region. In the interim however, he’s ready to make Carnival 2011, a positive one for both him and Shirla Slim.

Passion and hard work are certainly elements for success so by the look of things, Kevon “KK” Joseph’s journey will soon prove successful – after all, from the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him. (Proverbs 12:14).
