Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. January 13, 2011
- No matter where you go in the world, Trinidad and Tobago epitomizes sexy.

In carnival one event is being staged in the Southland to show the world just what sexy means. Tropix Entertainment will, for the very first time bring an all black event to Paria Suites in La Romaine. Classy, indulgent yet energy packed- these are the words that define the first annual, Sexy In Black affair to be held on January 29th, 2011.

Already, the buzz surrounding this spectacular event is high. It will be the first carnival fete to be held in the Southland and as such, patrons are excited. The Millionaire Family Band will also be launched in the South on this night and with a strong following on that side of the island, there’s no doubt that thousands will gather to see just what’s in store from the musical team that has continued to provide great music even ahead of C2K11.

The cast of artistes for Sexy In Black is unique. Karma featuring Ravi B and Nisha B will prove their strength as the top ranked Chutney Soca band out of T&T. Kes The Band promises to add international appeal mixed with local flair while the Millionaire Family Band along with Super Jigga TC, Shal Marshal, Denise Saucy Wow Belfon and Swappi, will by no stretch of the imagination offer a tight showcase of high energy performances throughout the night.

Throughout the season, Tropix Entertainment will host three events in the South and according to organizers it’s their way of keeping the Southern party lovers closer to home. With a high level of road fatalities notably experienced along the Solomon Hochoy Highway as revelers usually make their way from events in Port-of-Spain, Tropix is doing its part to curb such incidents by bringing the carnival closer to the Southern enjoyment-seekers.

Sexy In Black is an all black affair and it encourages patrons to indulge in the sophisticated and sensual side of T&T Carnival. With both general and VIP tickets going fast, Paria Suites is expected to truly spill over with enjoyment, energy and indulgence, the likes of which South Trinidad is yet to experience.
