"There comes a time in every rightly constructed person's life when he/she has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure."--Mark Twain. On Sunday January 16th, 2011 the treasure hunt was at Oleta State Park in Miami, Florida, with entertainment by popular DJ's. A Pirate was seen dancing to some dancehall rhythms.
CROWD:
The weather was probably around 50 degrees, but that did not stop the ladies from dressing in the most sexiest attire. Some men were also spotted in shorts.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Oleta State Park was an ideal location for Treasure Cove. The venue was an outdoor water view location. The park actually resembled a treasure cove with the winding roads to get to the heart of the venue where the treasure was located.
VIBES:
When I arrived Selecta AJ was doing what he does best, hyping up the crowd, followed by Richie D bringing it with a mixture of old chunes and Hip Hop beats. Black Chiney did their thing. Superb!
FOOD/DRINK:
This event was a BOYB, liquor for so; especially VX, Henessey and Ciroc, seems like the popular drinks of choice. Anyway as for the food, the festivals was on point. I need that recipe.
COST/VALUE:
The cost for entry into the event was $25.00 USD presold.
Fabulous event with fabulous people. Can't seem to get this sound out of my head "I'm Okay / Drinking Rum and Redbull". Special thanks to Hybrid, Lychee and One for having us. See allyuh next time.
