Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. January 20, 2011 - WASA Fete 2011 promises to be its safest yet.

As one of the most anticipated ‘big fetes’ in Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival, the WASA committee ahead of C2K11 has teamed up with recently held Evolution of Sound concert co-promoter, Icon Bliss, to host the Carnival production.

Representatives of Icon Bliss have indicated that a theme worthy of attention was immediately decided upon in a bid to bring back a safer, more enjoyable and certainly spirited WASA Fete experience. In 2011, WASA Fete is dubbed, The Renaissance. Security and ambience that encourages utter enjoyment and good, clean fun is the main focus ahead of the staging of this event on January 29th.

According to Icon Bliss representatives, WASA Fete will be a mammoth carnival showcase as Machel Montano HD will return to the East in a high energy, electrifying stage show. Along with stars of Carnival 2K11, Bunji Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons and Asylum, Karma featuring reigning Chutney Soca King Ravi B, Benjai, Super Jigga TC, Shal Marshal, Denise Belfon, The Boss Iwer George, Patch, Pelf and the Millionaire Family among a host of other big names, WASA-The Renaissance will bring patrons back to the days when feting in carnival was something truly worth remembering.

A VIP area is being allotted to patrons who feel the need to enjoy premium drinks and tasty Trini cuisine within the fete. The layout at the WASA sports Grounds in St. Joseph promises to work well for both patrons and security officials alike, and while ticket prices this year have been increased by a small percent, organizers say, no cost will be spared in ensuring that complete safety and all round enjoyment are guaranteed.

With just two weeks before the WASA Renaissance experience, the ground is talking and the all-inclusive fete lovers are watching. This year, Icon Bliss and the WASA Sports Club committee, anticipates a togetherness the likes of which has been missed for quite some time.
