Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. January 26th, 2011 - Already it has been proven that Army Fete- a staple event in T&T’s Carnival is indeed the most anticipated carnival event in the season. Organizers are said to have furnished outlets across the island with tickets prior to any semblance of radio, television or press advertising and some locations have since requested additional tickets.

Word of the fete’s date was released on social networking site Facebook, and immediately, hundreds accepted the event and pledged to purchase their tickets early. Each year, patrons look forward to Army Fete. Having been branded the safest fete in carnival over the years, the event has certainly lived up to everyone’s expectations. For this reason, promoters are anticipating a massive turnout at the Queen’s Park Savannah on February 25th, much like Army Fete 2010.

A theme dubbed Relief In Place, has been chosen by officials at the Defense Force and organizers say, this just may be the best Army Fete yet. In 2011, security will not be spared, as is usually the case. Special consideration has been given to patrons who enjoy the VIP and VVIP treatment with general admission patrons also being assured that their enjoyment will not be compromised.

Plans are now underway and with one month ahead of the big fete, anticipation is rife that there will be something truly spectacular at this year’s event. Together with some of the biggest names in soca, patrons will show the world just how explosive a carnival event in T&T can be.

Promoters of the event are urging the visiting public to come take a taste of what a real Trini fete is all about. They guarantee that it will be a truly unparalleled experience that will leave them wanting more.
