From the minute I got to the venue I could see the line stretching straight down the entire block, with males and females on either side of the venue. Pressssuuuurrrreee. But the line was moving quickly so in spite of the cold weather and the size of the crowd, getting in wasn't too much of a task. Crystal Manor is probably one of Brooklyn's best kept secrets. Walking in off of Flatbush Avenue into a venue like that was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. The venue is classy and perfect for a Birthday bash the magnitude of the Party Rocker himself Back to Basics. Though it was packed there was ample partying room for everyone who was there to have a good time. And imagine, valet parking in the heart of Brooklyn, I loooove it.

Of course any and everybody who is part of the Brooklyn Caribbean party circle was there, promoters, DJ's, and well known avid partygoers were all most present at this event. DJs for the night included Anonymous, Dr. Wax, GB God Bless, Sounds For Life, Natural Freaks, and of course the man of the night BACK TO BASICS. With a line up like that, the music was most certainly guaranteed to be on point that night.

Rebirth was certainly the pre-Carnival teaser it was advertised to be, and the perfect way to celebrate the life of the musical genius Back to Basics. Thanks again for having TJJ at Rebirth. Wishing you all the best for many more to come.
