Before I get into this review, I just have one question. How can Sahara, and water fit in the same sentence? Want to know how? Well, pay attention ...

It seemed like a normal Friday night, and d' local Juice and myself had just finished wrapping up another event. Then, we were on to the next one; Sahara. The night started off still until.... the skies opened and buckets of rain started greeting d' local and I while we drove over the mountains heading to the venue. Reluctance and somewhat sourness filled the car as the rain continued pouring, banging the front window like little pebbles thrown from above. When we did arrive, the rain subsided a bit... raising our spirits just a little from where it was. Wait, did I mention the venue was Maracas Beach? Okay, now watch how the word Sahara can mix with water!

We all know what follows the word Sahara... normally it's desert. But believe me when I say even though we weren't in a desert, everything was HOT about this party... excuse me, COOLER party! Ladies all over in their sexy bikinis and beach wear, men just bringing more and more drinks in their cooler so no one's throat would ever be dry, even saw some people bring drinks in a life boat. Yes I said it, a life boat!!

Music filled the beach by DJs such as DJ Marcus, DJ Assasin, DJ Teck and Assassin and Hollywood Sachy... just to name a few. And we all know no event could ever be complete without live performances. Artistes like 2009 Synergy Soca Star; Chynee, Swappi, Super Jigga TC and Shal 'Sdot' Marshall came and bless the event with their presence. Speaking of blessings, the rain occasionally came down, cause people to get undressed a little sooner than expected, if you get my drift. It may have been wet venue, but it sure was a hot party. The Jokey one had no choice but to retire his camera for the night and actually get in the vibes.

Nuff respect to RAVE and all committee members for putting together another successful event. The Jokey one is pleased. To all the artistes and DJs who put on a great performance, keep it up. This carnival going and be sweeeeet.

Once again the Jokey One signing out asking,"Do you have the Juice?" Because it's evident that RAVE has it. Thumbs up!
