Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. February 11, 2011 - The children of Trinidad and Tobago and those who will visit from regions abroad, will certainly have their fill of children’s carnival shows in 2011. Added to the long list of kiddies events this year is Ravi B’s Children’s Carnival Fantasy.

On March 5th, the reigning Chutney Soca Monarch King will host his first ever children’s carnival engagement- with a theme reminiscent of Bollywood. “ I’m so excited to be hosting this children’s show,” said Ravi. He says he’s been planning this for the kids for the past three years, but has never quite had the opportunity to present it the way that he imagined, until now.

Complete with electronic games like Nintendo Wii and Xbox360, pony rides, face-paintings, Bouncy Castles, food, beverages, life size mascots of cartoon characters the children adore and live entertainment from Digicel Rising Star winner, Neeval Chaitlal and Avinash Mahraj, Pranava Mahraj, Indar Khanhai, Anil Beam, Rikki Jai and Karma- the event to be held at Guaracara Park in South Trinidad, promises to be one of the best for the children this year.

With plans underway to ensure the décor and energy are child friendly, classy and professional, parents and children alike can certainly look forward to an unbelievable showcase of talent from some of the island’s best Chutney entertainers. “Nisha will be doing Jonas Brothers selections and we know they’ll love that,” said Ravi. He highlighted that his aim is to ensure the children of the Southland and all others who visit the South for the children’s show, have the time of their lives.
