Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. February 18, 2011 - Ronnie and Caro’s Mas Band will in 2011 produce not just mas, but also one of the best fete experiences for real die-hard Trini’s.

On Carnival Wednesday- March 2nd, the Queen’s Park Oval will be laced in the red, white and black that’s representative of the land of steelpan, soca and calypso. The fete, Home Sweet Home will bring people of Trinidad and Tobago heritage from all walks of life, to one place where every element of local enjoyment will be made available in great abundance.

From tasty Trini cuisine to some of the most enjoyed artistes in soca and calypso, inclusive of Benjai, The Black Stalin, Denise Belfon, Iwer George and The Mighty Sparrow, Home Sweet Home promises to give patrons all that’s desired in a real Trini carnival fete.

Online, carnival lovers who’re returning for this year’s festival have already been voicing their anticipation for the Trini themed carnival experience. With a pan round the neck already reserved to take patrons out of the fete and toward their respective modes of transportation when the event comes to an end, Home Sweet Home, according to organizers, will be something truly special for persons both mature and youthful, whether from local shores or foreign destinations. Tickets are reasonably priced and this, they say, is meant to ensure that patrons come out in their numbers for a night of safe, enjoyable carnival fun.

“Fetes have changed over the years. Our plan is to offer something really engaging from a local perspective, something that Trini’s from abroad who may be returning for the first time in years, can hold on to as a symbol of home,” said a fete representative. The fete is not geared toward foreigners only however. According to Ronnie McIntosh who will also be performing at the event, Home Sweet Home will welcome all people of Trinidad and Tobago who are looking for a carnival experience that is unparalleled.
