Kingston, Jamaica, March 24, 2011 -Variety ~ like the many brilliant colours of this year’s Bacchanal Jamaica Once Upon a Dynasty’s carnival costume presentation so to is the line up of soca artistes. It’s only at the Mas Camp you are sure to be treated to the likes of power soca contenders such as Skinny Fabulous and Iwer George (scheduled to perform on 8th April), groovy soca crooners featured this Friday Cassi and Lil’Bits, to the iron and steel man Shurwayne Winchester, scheduled for next week’s performance on April 1st.

Remember March 25th it’s Ladies Night and you are in for a special price of $500 before midnight. Ladies ensure that you are here to enjoy the whimsical lyrics of Cassi’s "Town Ting". Town Ting is Cassi’s debut soca song and a play on the fun and comedic scenes had during carnival time. With a throwback melody and easy vibe the Bacchanal crowd is sure to sway and rock back to this one.

Lil’s Bits says it herself "Go Dung Sweetness" her 2011 hit is a “soca beat with a dancehall blend”. Introduced to the soca scene under the wings of the lyrical master himself Bunji Garlin, also a part of the grand Bacchanal Jamaica’s line up of upcoming performances, Lil’ Bits is known for her sweet songs like Carnival in my Country. So if the men can “handle the sweetness” as she says, be sure to get your pre-sold tickets early at the cost of $800, at the gate it is $1000.

Only four of eleven sections have a few costumes left. Registration can be done at the Mas Camp Monday to Fridays from 10am to 8pm, Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm and you can also register during Bacchanal Fridays. The costumes can also be viewed on the website www.bacchanaljamaica.com/costumes.html.
