After a rough friday ... Carnival friday that is ... Attending three parties one after the other without sleep ... Got the call from Chooks ... "Yo Scorch ... Evening ... Free Drinks ... Evening Into Night Vibes ... Giggidy? Or No?" .... Retorical Question ... I am there like white on rice! Call in the troops ... Pink & Young and the squad locked! Off we go ...

The madness is about to start ... Scorch has a reputation for having some of the most memorable parties ... Let me the first to tell you as this being my first Scorch event (because I don't live in Trinidad ... Yes I am a foreigner ..... Well ...) ...... This Scorch event definitely did not disappoint me ... Definitely did not ....

Now this is a Carnival Block-O ... Block the streets ... Bring out the speakers ... Bring out the DJs ... Stack the bars ... Call your friends ... Blocko-O in yuh tail!!! The streets were blocked off well, the bars well placed, even the specialist bars, the little tables in the road were a great touch so we could gather around them, the very intimately lit stage along with the erect lighting in the middle on slabs of wood ... True Block-O style ... Or something similar and fanciful!? Location! Location! Location! .... St. Clair .... No hassle! Park on the streets ... And you good to go!! Very residential area!!

With great service by the door on entry ... And loved the fact that you have no set of drama made the first point of contact for this block-O EXCELLENT!!!!! The drinks location ... Even the specialist bars ... EASILY LOCATED .... Scorch Rules .... One of many .... You cannot refuse a shot ... Or you get none! Hahaha!!! Just the hype behind the whole thing had non-alcoholics having shots from the girls walking around with drinks ... You could ask Chooks!!!??? Hahahahahahah!!!! The bars were serving you any poison that was on offer for free and there were also some high end stuff that you had to pay for ... But whatever your choice of alcohol was ... it was heavily mixed ... The bartenders at scorch were pouring heavy ... Just how I love it ... Was that a ploy to get the bar done? Maybe! Who Knows? Who Cares?? Alcohol Flowing like October Beer Festival in Germany!!

I am so sorry DJs but I don't remember your names ... I was way too intoxicated to remember and having waaay too much fun to even want to remember .... The drumming section at the front of the dance helped create a unique atmosphere of togetherness with everyone trying their hands at a drum ... Even the bathrooms were vibes ... Take a leak, shake a leg, pass a wipe then go take a wine on your way back! Hahaha! In the middle of the dancefloor was where ALL the action was taking place! Literally ALL ... There was not one crew and group of people not wining on each other .... Using the scaffolding for a prop while you let a besss bamcee wine up on you ... Jah ... Wipes bead of sweat from forehead ....

So let's do a count ... Easy entry to party ... Check .... Bar easily located .... Check .... Toilets .... Know where they are ....
Drinks Flowing ... Oh Very Much So!!! Waistlines licking shots? Bamcees rolling like thunder? We not watching face we watching waist? Dance and Dingolay? Mash Up The Speakerboxx? Scorch Again!!!! Any Day!!! Wine & Bend Over!!! Get On Real Mad!!! Carnival!!!! If You Looking For Me You Will Find Me In Scorch ... Wining And Prancing In The Hairy Bank!!!!

Scorch definitely had the place lock ... Even with performances that did not kill the vibe .... By the infamous Iwer George who was preceeded by Konata K-Marvel ... The Stage almost bloody mash up!!! How many times they will ask people to come OFF the stage!!!?!?!?!

What more can I Say? .... Nothing ... Scorch ... Party did not lack anything ... do not change anything ... Please Keep The Rhythm Section at the end ... pounding that iron had my blood pumping!!!!!!!
