Miami, FL March 28, 2011 - ESPN has entered into an agreement for mobile distribution in Jamaica with Caribbean communications company, Lime, it was announced by Bernard Stewart, Vice President and General Manager, ESPN Caribbean and Maritime Media, and Stephen Price, LIME Regional Special Projects Manager.

Under the terms of the agreement, LIME will carry ESPN on its mobile network servicing Jamaica, providing LIVE coverage of English Premier League and NBA games and X Games Competition, which also are carried on ESPN’s Caribbean Television Networks. In addition, LIME will carry an average of 15 ESPN general sports clips per day.

“We are delighted to provide sports fans in Jamaica with LIME’s mobile platform to receive ESPN programming,” said Stewart. “LIME’s network will be a terrific vehicle for Jamaican sports enthusiasts to follow their favorite teams and athletes.”

“The English Premier League and NBA are sporting events that Jamaicans are very enthusiastic about and so LIME is very proud to be partnering with ESPN on this venture” said Stephen Price, LIME Regional Special Projects Manager.

“With the advent of LIME Mobile TV, which was recently launched in Jamaica, this agreement will enhance LIME’s ability to provide sporting fans with live, on-the-go coverage of their favorite games” Price added.
