Picture this it’s three weeks since the greatest show on earth came to a thrilling climax and you are still reeling from the sudden drought of Soca and revelry. While you’re on the Internet sifting through the trillion carnival photos to find the best shots of yourself you get an email from TRIBE saying that they’re doing it again. As you read the details of their Las Lap fete endorphins begin to surge through your body in anticipation of reliving the memories of Carnival 2k11 and you burst out into Benjai’s song   “Oh lawddd Carnival come again”. Ok, ok the details might be slightly different but we are sure this is how it went for many of the partyholics that showed up at Pier 1 on the night before the holiday to Tribe’s Las Lap for Sasha.

The party was the brainchild of TRIBE employees who rallied behind their coworker Sasha who was recently critically injured in a car accident. The TRIBE team decided to do what they do best to help offset her medical expenses. Partying for a good cause is always a great combination and the timing of coming on the heels of carnival and the night before a holiday just added to what was guaranteed to be a good time.

The event was touted as the cure for PCD (Post Carnival Depression) and it did not disappoint. Those brave enough to come out in Monday wear or costume got to truly feel like they were back in Jenny’s on Carnival Tuesday night as DJs including DJ Private Ryan played all the Soca hits from 2k11. Those few truly got back into to the carnival spirit with complete with boots, headpieces, glitter and even spears! As much fun as it was for those who went all out we are sure that even those who weren’t in costume were probably transported back to one of the pre carnival cooler fetes they attended. The party was full of coolers, beautiful people, good music and plenty vibes.

Thumbs up to TRIBE for helping Sasha and helping the masses to cope with their PCD.
