Kingston, Jamaica, April 17, 2011: Party enthusiasts across Jamaica, the Caribbean and the world over are gearing up for what many know will be a action packed summer with promoters and sponsors alike promising never before experienced themes and concepts for their intended patrons.
Appleton Jamaica Rum has formed an Alliance with some of Jamaica’s most innovative promoters and by extension events. From this alliance emerged the ‘A Team’, an undeniable force of conceptually brilliant promoters coupled with Jamaica’s favorite rum – Appleton.
Good Company, the team that has delivered Jamaica’s Number 1 Themed party series – Appleton May Daze since its inception in 2008 is amongst the A-Listed promoters under the Appleton ‘A Team’ Banner, a fitting addition seeing that the event series has consistently delivered on the promoter’s promise of quality, cost effective entertainment.
In 2008 during its introduction the event series saw in excess of 5000 patrons coming out to witness what became its signature; 5 Nights of Fun, Frolic and Fantasy which saw the ladies coming out in short shorts exhibiting their ‘Short Temper’. They came out to vibe with the best 90’s Selectors for the ‘90’s Overload. In a redefinition of being Crazy Sexy Cool, patrons came out dressed in some of the craziest fashion attire to ‘May hem’ and for the Finale the promoters took the patrons to Negril, bundling the Negril weekend experience into one night in New Kingston, with selections by the weekend’s most requested selectors, sand, beach balls and water, the vibe was unmatched.
In 2009 Appleton May Daze brought a foray of colour to New Kingston with 5 nights of themes centered around vibrant colours much to the delight of the thousands of patrons that came out to enjoy each night and the specialty drinks that followed each night’s coloured theme, all of which were powered by Appleton Jamaica Rum.
In 2010 patrons witnessed Appleton May Daze the Movie with theme’s centered on popular movies such as ‘Friday’, ‘Sex and the City’, ‘Dancehall Queen’, ‘Scary Movie’ and ‘Stomp the Yard’. The set up of the venue saw screens strategically set up streaming videos of the very movies that formed the themes of the nights. A halt imposed on the entertainment scene saw the event series not executing all the nights, much to the dismay of the patrons many of whom expressed just how they had planned on enjoying the year’s theme. Good Company found themselves in the position of wanting to deliver quality entertainment and not being able to do so, as frustrating as that was, the group of enthusiastic promoters simply placed emphasis on delivering a power package for the 2011 staging of the event,.
2011 will see the world enjoying Appleton May Daze – The World Tour, a theme that has been hailed as the most creative and fun filled Appleton May Daze staging yet, which will see the venue being transformed to represent elements of the different countries, undoubtedly the execution will present an experience like none other for the patrons.

May 27th – Hollywood . . . The Celebrity Look a like Party
June 3rd – Dubai . . . The Big Bang
Appleton May Daze has continued to push the boundaries of entertainment with not only fun filled themes but only with the value that each patron gets when they party at the event series. Continuing on their trend the Promoters will be offering a limited amount of ‘Passports’ which will allow the owner to enter charge free to all 5 Parties along with a guest, secured VIP parking and entry, Complimentary Drinks on Entry and Discounts at Affiliated Stores.
