New York, NY (April 20, 2011) - The 2nd Trinidad & Tobago Gospel Awards (TTGA) is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 29th, 2011 at JESUS ELAM REVIVAL ASSEMBLY INTERNATIONAL # 1 Prizgar Road 3 Ave North Barataria, Trinidad, W.I.. Preceding the Award Ceremony which will consist of fifteen (15) categories a Red Carpet Event and Pre Show will take place to commence this musically uplifting evening. Masters of Ceremony will be Mellisa “Precious” Brouwn & Jamie Thomas.

The TTGA is presented by Caribbean Award Academy Foundation (CAAF)™, a company established in 2006 with the focus on the further development and improvement in the Caribbean community and culture.

This year CAAF will be honouring Women In Ministry (W.I.M). At the 1st TTGA in 2007 Rev. Angela Williams received the Lifetime Achievement Award, this year Rev. Williams is among seven powerful Women in Ministry who will be recognized for their devoted and inspirational contribution to the gospel ministry and will receive the W.I.M award. Also celebrating on that evening Prophetess Agnes C. George of Jesus Elam Revival Assembly International, Rev. Margaret Elcock of Family Focus Broadcasting Network, Pastor Angela Cuffie of Miracle Ministries International Christ Castle, Pastor Roma Bachew of Faith Assembly International, Min. Natalie Akindele of Victory Outreach Church in Scarborough, Tobago and Pastor Karen Alexis of Arima Open Bible Standard Church.

Min. Kelvin Corbett and Nazarene Worship Centre Steel Orchestra will receive special awards for their contribution to gospel music.

Artists such as Koen Duncan, Michelle Modeste, Donald Job, Keron Ramsey, Sherwin Gardner, Min. Kelvin Corbett and the Nazarene Worship Centre Steel Orchestra are all confirmed to attend. The big stage will host an evening of joyful songs of worship and praise amongst a congregation of all denominations but of one faith singing along to our gospel favourites, old and new; this will truly make the Trinidad and Tobago Gospel Awards ceremony an awe-inspiring celebration of gospel music.
