After alot of hard work, collaboration and coordination the Bornbad Riddim Produced by KUBIYASHI is expected to be released very early this weekend. This Carnival Riddim for 2011 boasts industry names like Problem Child, Skinny Fabulous, Luta, Jamsey P, Fire Empress and more. Internationally artistes such as Indrani, Ms. Paige, Mark Hize, Fire Fusion, Damon Elliott and Colombian will be distributed within the initial the VA package. For those who have heard the rumours yes, the riddim is expected to release follow up surprise records from well known regional Artistes.

The BornBad riddim arose from the tinkering of Alex Barnwell and Zan George (guitarist of Kubiyashi's Alliance Band) - who were experimenting with a new sound. The riddim has African, Caribbean and North American influence - bridled with a creole vibe. One major suprise on the Riddim is Legendary producer Damon Elliott. Mr. Elliott has produced numerous albums and hit singles for various music artists including his mother, Dionne Warwick, as well as Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, and Macy Gray. Damon’s production has earned him a Grammy and seven Grammy nominations. Damon linked up with Kubiyashi during a trip to Caribbean via long time friend Derek Brin - very spontaneously Dame delivered a monster song "Little Island Girl". In May 2011 the BornBad Riddim VA project is born by the once again dynamic young and upcoming Soca / RnB / Dancehall producer Alex “Kubiyashi” Barnwell.

All projects were done in partnership with the following production houses Monstapiece Productions (BDS), Xtreme Platta (BDS), Meggawattz Studios (SVG), Damon Elliott Music Group (USA)

All records will be available for promotional download after May 8th 2011.
