Over the last 3-4 decades, she has recorded and performed R&B, Funk, Soul and Gospel music and presented her own Gospel oriented show on BBC Radio in the UK. She has graced several international stages included the Grammy and BET Awards and has collaborated musically with the likes of the legendary Stevie Wonder, members of the renowned group Earth, Wind and Fire, R&B songstress Monica, Christian singer Sandi Patti and the famous Johnny Mathis (with whom she recorded the popular theme to the 1980s sitcom Family Ties, “Without Us”).

On Saturday May 28th 2011 Deniece Williams will walk the red carpet and co-host the prestigious IRAWMA alongside fellow Grammy winner Shaggy and Jamaican Reggae icon Tony Rebel.
