Kingston, JA/New York, NY (RAINE PR): Guaranteeing music lovers 'the ultimate Reggae experience,' Tad's Record is set to release Colouring Book, a compilation of the biggest radio and street anthems of 2011 from Dancehall's undisputed champion Vybz Kartel. In keeping with Kartel's controversial nature and unrestricted lyrical prowess, the album will feature both the raw and edited versions of twelve of the deejay's sizzling singles. Colouring Book will be hit digital outlets Tuesday, July 19th.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Kartel has "dominated Jamaican airwaves with outré, tongue-twisting tunes about everything from X-rated antics to ghetto politics." Colouring Book shows off the many shades of Vybz Kartel, from the playful feel-good anthem "Summer Time," to the ultra naughty "Benz Punany," and the spiritually uplifting "Jah Love We." Other stand-out tracks include "Look Pon We," featuring producer/deejay Russian, and Kartel's freestyle monster "The Lyricist."

The album gets its title from Kartel's controversy stirring single "Colouring Book (Tattoo Time Come)." Described as the "most talked about figure in Dancehall" by the New York Times, Vybz Kartel set off a media fire storm world-wide this year for lightening the complexion of his skin to heighten the color of his tattoos. On "Colouring Book," Kartel thumbs his nose at critics by proudly proclaiming "mi skin pretty like a coloring book."

"Many people joke that Kartel is 'Jamaica's Michael Jackson,' but in all seriousness he really has become larger than life - even on an international level, if you mention Dancehall, the conversation immediately turns to Vybz Kartel," says Tad's Record founder Tad A. Dawkins. "We've put out a series of Kartel compilations and all of them have been wildly successful. We have no doubt that 'Colouring Book' will be another one of our best sellers."

Colouring Book's production credits include Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer, Tarik 'Russian' Johnston, Ainsley 'Notnice' Morris, Shawn 'ZJ Chrome' Cabal, and Linton "TJ" White. Colouring Book will be released digitally under the Tad's Record imprint on Tuesday, July 19th.
