One of the hottest events of the season featuring the highly anticipated lone performance of Kes the band and others who did not disappoint.

The last major fete for the 2011 Toronto Carnival season is always very popular in that it affords you the opportunity to get that last wine in before you return to the ""Rat Race"". This years Big People fete wining real estate was hard to come by as the event was packed in anticipation of being able to catch the lone Canadian  performance of the ""wotless"" man himself,  Kes. Wild Water Kingdom again played host to this event and utilized both the Caribbean Cove and the Beach Club where you had the opportunity to view your favourite artist and/or band. Roy Cape ( soon to be Dr. Roy Cape) and Blaxx commanded the Beach Club whilst the Caribbean Cove was home to Kes the band and other guest performers including Nadia Batson, Talpree Lil Bits Kerwin Du Bois and Lord Nelson who turned 80.

There were some grumblings about the ticket prices at the door however when one examines the NUMEROUS ADVERTISEMENTS it was CLEARLY stated that ticket prices were $50 advance and $60 at the door. To act surprised at the ticket booth on the day is indeed unfortunate and as such the promoters and ticket booth personnel ought not to have been subjected to the unnecessary questioning that could have been avoided had one taken care to read the flyers as opposed to just showing up and challenging the price.

This event was a fitting end to the season and has cemented itself as one of the cornerstone events for the season.
