YUMA Mas Band Launch 2012 - "Press Play" Review

YUMA 2012 .... what a presentation from the inception of Zodeak to this year’s team Press Play!
One of the few band launches to end the summer this was one event worth not missing. On entry you could feel the arcade settings. The actual tickets on entry was a shot glass quite different but weird (broken glasses no entry/ no drinking in glasses before the event). On a lighter note the patron bar was first game in this arcade as the shot glasses were put into use. Bars were located throughout the venue with a bMobile booth, committee booth and VVIP booth for specially invited guest and to be honest it was quite vacant. In the centre of attraction was the prize possession of the longest catwalk ever done in a band launch. Patrons could enjoy this presentation from any vantage point... IMPRESSIVE!
Presentation time lights music and PRESS PLAY. Thirteen sections grace the stage in order of appearance each highlighting the glitz and glamour. Spawn, Heavenly Sword, Call of Duty, Azteca, Golden Eye, Apache, Angry Birds, Final Fantasy, Tyris, Transformers, Luxor, God of War and Bejewled Blitz. I being a male and not really understanding the concept of female carnival costumes surely had a change of mind as Azteca and Angry Birds caught my attention. Not only mentioning the sexy models in the costume the arrangement of feathers and complimenting colour coordination surely had an impact on this year’s team.
Premium free drinks every corner the night could only get better as Nuvo was endless and the usual scotch, vodka and rum always came in handy. Music provided by Dj’s Red and Rapid Response created the nonstop vibes as they really tested the crowd and intended masquerades for carnival 2012.
