Vale Vibe Miami 2k11...same venue, same crowd, different weather, different vibes! In a good way.

Having Vale Vibe on the events list for the third time in a row...I must say it was the first time I saw people letting loose, like LOOSE! Dancing in the window frames, wining like there’s no tomorrow.

As much as I like the Miami Tower as a venue, it allows patrons to scatter around and “socialize” (yawn)too much...standing around the pool outside, hiding behind the bushes of the roof top terrace, etc. That was simply not an option at all this time since carnival in Miami was a WET one this year.

So all the ValeVibers were forced to vibe indoors and thank god it worked out well!!!

The well organized chit system worked nicely, complementary food was yummy... I heard about some issues regarding the bottle service but that must have quickly been forgotten with all those well dressed ladies palancing by.

Even though I would say this event is more of an upper class experience, you still see plenty flags (people just love to represent) and the drummers are giving it an authentic caribbean “homely” feel as well.

So if you are looking for a party on carnival Saturday where you can dress up and wine up in Downtown Miami with the sickest Trini DJ’s (oh you know who I am talking about!!!) you should definitely head to Vale Vibe. (FYI: it finishes early enough so you can get your beauty sleep before hitting the road the next day)
